In 1926, Dante Scapigliati opened his confectionery in Florence, leveraging his experience in the production of biscuits and baked goods gained through years spent at the cookie factory “Digerini e Marinai”. Dealing with a modern consumer society, his son Giorgio was able to maintain the artisanal quality of the product on one hand, and respect the need for larger-scale production on the other. This was made possible by the design of certain machines that faithfully replicate the “handmade” method.

Today, Giorgio Scapigliati’s sons, Roberto and Daniele, continue the confectionery tradition passed down through the family with respect, passion, and dedication. Their daily work is guided by the pursuit of high-quality ingredients and constant recipe refinement.

Protecting and passionately promoting family tradition is just the first of many goals for the Scapigliati cookie factory.
