In 1926, Dante Scapigliati opened his confectionery in Florence, leveraging his experience in the production of biscuits and baked goods gained through years spent at the cookie factory “Digerini e Marinai”. Facing a modern consumer society, his son Giorgio was able to maintain the artisanal quality of the products while also respecting the need for larger-scale production. This was achieved through the design of certain machines that faithfully replicate the “handmade” process.
Today, Giorgio Scapigliati’s sons, Roberto and Daniele, continue the confectionery tradition passed down through the family with respect, passion, and dedication. They are committed to sourcing the best ingredients and constantly refining recipes in their daily work.
Made in Tuscany
Protecting and passionately promoting family tradition is just the first of many goals for the Scapigliati cookie factory. The core of the brand’s activity is the promotion of Tuscan craftsmanship, also through the creation of a structured distribution network that allows the excellence of Tuscan confectionery to be appreciated in Italy and around the world.
