Although Art Nouveau was most popular in Europe, it spread worldwide at the height of its development. The fascination with this mysterious, contrasting style, rich in delicate, feminine patterns, was not only due to admiration for its form. Behind this style lay a philosophy of design that encompasses entire lives, which takes on a strongly aesthetic dimension — the Art Nouveau style often dominated homes.
