The writing instruments of the Extra 1930 collection, with their perfectly balanced proportions of grace and sophistication, are a testament to the rich tradition of Italian goldsmithing art. Montegrappa, the first Italian manufacturer of fountain pens, pays tribute to the thirties by enriching the Extra 1930 collection with a new and exclusive Turtle Brown version. The inspiration for the "Extra" series pens was a model from Montegrappa from the 1930s. The series was created to satisfy those who love precious items with classic shapes and original colors and patterns.
Extra 1930 Turtle Brown is a new color option for the well-known classic collection. The "Extra 1930" series combines innovative technological solutions with classic aesthetics and appearance. The bodies are made of celluloid, in a brown inspired by models from the Montegrappa Museum. This series includes fountain pens and ballpoint pens with gold decorations, 18-karat gold nibs, and an ebonite ink reservoir, available only in brown. The ballpoint pen features a body and cap made from high-quality deep brown celluloid with striking white streaks. The cap is topped with the company's logo, which is 1912 within a laurel wreath. The clip and rings are made of gold. The clip is finished with the brand's characteristic ball, making it easy to attach. The ring at the base of the cap is decorated with Greek characters. The pen has an extremely efficient, velvety-writing ink refill in black, with a traditional piston filling system. The pen comes in a ash wood box with an included replica of the original year's inkwell, with an ebonite closure.
The "Extra 1930" fountain pen is a limited edition of 1912 pieces. The pen writes excellently, and the large 18-karat gold nib provides great comfort. The Extra 1930 is intended for those willing to dedicate their time and who have not abandoned traditional solutions used in luxury products. Impeccable individuality has been rewarded.
