MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its lines of interior accessories, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products inspired by the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has prepared the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, the company’s firstborn Vittoria joined as head of communication and quality to mark further generational evolution. This way, the company combines fifty years of experience with artisanal production and management concepts, offering the most sophisticated and demanding clients a fully Italian luxury experience.
