Futuristic Marilyn Monroe jar made of ceramics

This ceramic object was designed by Tullio Mazzotti, a fourth-generation representative of the Mazzotti ceramic family.

The artistic heritage of the Mazzotti family is linked to futuristic production in the 1930s, when the factory collaborated with representatives of the Futurist movement, and later in the 1950s with artists such as Lucio Fontana, Asger Jorn, Aligi Sassu, and Enrico Baj, when Albisola was the world capital of ceramics, and the Mazzotti factory its palace.

Tullio Mazzotti, the current owner of this magnificent factory, is a craftsman, artist, painter, designer, and “initiator of artistic spirits” in Albisola.
These valuable ceramic artworks are created based on the artist’s original designs, with the same passion, using the same materials and manual processes that have always been employed at the Mazzotti factory.

Mazzotti ceramics from Albisola are housed in major museums in Italy and around the world.

To this day, Giuseppe Mazzotti’s factory remains a cultural landmark in Italy for producing limited editions of artworks and handcrafted ceramics made specifically for clients.
