The Montegrappa company was founded in the 19th century — it developed into one of the most successful manufacturers in the world. Currently, at the beginning of the 21st century, it is clear that Montegrappa aims to continue following contemporary trends and adapting its product offerings accordingly. Drawing inspiration from many sources, it broadens the company's design horizons. These include influences from ancient art, architecture, icons, contemporary culture, as well as original jewelry inspiration. The motto of the artisans working for the brand is pride in their work — a factor that seems to diminish in mass production.
Micra is the ultimate expression of luxury and the smallest writing instrument of the Montegrappa brand. The collection includes four models (fountain pen, ballpoint pen, rollerball, and mechanical pencil), which are a perfect combination of tradition and innovation.
The fountain pen features a distinctive octagonal body and cap made from precious resin in a red color. The clip and rings are made of sterling silver. The clip is finished with a characteristic ball, making it easy to attach. The nib is made of 18K gold, engraved, rhodium-plated, two-tone. The pen has a refillable cartridge system. This writing instrument is dedicated to women and comes in a beautiful box made of maple wood.
Montegrappa's fountain pens, deeply rooted in culture and protected against economic piracy through a highly complex finishing process and the impossibility of industrialization based on handcrafted production, are virtually impossible to counterfeit.
