Vegetable-tanned leather.

Vegetable-tanned leather absorbs marks, gives the leather a new refined appearance, and introduces new shades and colors. Similar to patina, which develops on the surface — indicating very high-quality material.
The brand sources the most delicate and high-quality raw materials from Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland. This is the essence of the entire product-making process. Just like in an orchestra, threads play a crucial role. They add elegance, allure, and true elitism to Arte & Cuoio products.
The process called 'slow tanning' is performed with animal fats (tallow) and tannins extracted from bark, chestnut, and mimosa wood.
The leather is then oiled in wooden barrels with animal fats, air-dried, refined with natural dyes, and polished with amber stones.
