Fileas Fogg (original spelling Phileas Fogg) – a fictional character from the novel by French writer Jules Verne Around the World in Eighty Days (1872).

He is an English gentleman who, to win a bet, plans to travel around the world. He aims to do so in no more than 80 days, using various means of transportation and the newly built Suez Canal.

During his journey, he is accompanied by his faithful French servant – Passepartout (in Polish translations: Obieżyświat). An English policeman – Fix, who is tracking the extraordinary traveler, suspects that Fogg is a wanted thief by Scotland Yard, who had previously robbed a London bank. He was a very precise man, with all activities planned and unchangeable.
