Founded in the 19th century, Montegrappa has grown into one of the most successful manufacturers in the world. Currently, at the beginning of the 21st century, it is clear that Montegrappa aims to continue following contemporary trends and adapting its product offerings accordingly. Montegrappa expands the company's design horizons, drawing inspiration from ancient art, architecture, icons, the culture of the era, as well as original jewelry design.
The motto of the artisans working for the brand is pride in their work – a factor that seems to be fading in mass production.
Micra is the ultimate expression of luxury and also the smallest writing instrument from Montegrappa. The collection includes four models (fountain pen, ballpoint pen, rollerball, and mechanical pencil), which are a perfect combination of tradition and innovation. The fountain pen features a distinctive octagonal body and cap made from precious resin in a blue color. The clip and rings are made of sterling silver. The clip is finished with the brand’s characteristic ball, making it easy to attach. The nib is crafted from 18K gold, engraved, rhodium-plated, and bi-tone. The ring is set with 21 diamonds (color H, clarity VS2-SI1, total weight 0.27 carats). The pen uses a refill system with exchangeable cartridges. This writing instrument is dedicated to women and comes in a beautiful maple wood box.
Despite its modest appearance, this pen contains a unique atmosphere. Montegrappa’s creators have once again demonstrated exceptional intuition by creating a wonderful jewel. Tradition must be continually cultivated and watched over so that it does not get lost amidst the hustle and the fast pace of life.
