MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its lines of interior accessories, paying special attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and craftsmanship skills.

After the premature death of Paolo in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets. This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralds success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, leading the company to face new digitalization challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. Thus, the company moves into the present with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
