The first is based on the idea that everyday objects should be aesthetic items, but above all functional, made in an elegant, simple manner—with symmetrical lines, from solid materials, where every element is carefully considered in the final form.
Art Noveau is the complete opposite of Thistle—decorated objects combine functionality and artistic craftsmanship, elaborate Art Deco, and asymmetry.
