After the first model is produced, molds are made for the final products. This marks the beginning of a time-consuming process of creating this exquisite ceramics.

Everything started when Bruno Costenaro, born in Bassano in 1940, began to learn the secrets of ceramics. He was just thirteen years old at the time and worked in companies in Marostica and Cassola. By the age of twenty, he decided to create elite ceramics from Italy, initially with two partners in Vallonara, and later independently in Pianezze.

Over the years, the demand for his products grew, and the company moved to Molvena. Initially, small-scale production took place in the basement of his new residence, but after many setbacks, he built a workshop adjacent to his home, where he still works today. This demonstrates that family-run manufactories thrive and create true luxury. The strength of the workshop was extraordinary, thanks to its level of creativity, innovation, interest in export, and the company's ability to overcome sector crises, providing employment over the years to about seventy collaborators whom Costenaro trained in trade—including his children, who continue the business.

On March 26, 2000, Bruno Costenaro received the honorary title of master craftsman of the Vicenza province; as a tribute to his exemplary conduct both personally and professionally, he distinguished himself through dedication to work and generosity in passing on techniques and values to future generations. To this day, Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro remains one of the most prestigious ceramic factories in the region, always looking ahead, conducting research to satisfy its clients, and delivering high-quality artistic products.

What does the process of creating this luxury ceramics look like?

Each piece of ceramic from the mold is then hand-finished. It is glazed using the “a bagno” method (dipping), according to the colors chosen by the customer (for example: white, black, ruby red, cobalt blue, emerald green), and then fired at a temperature of 1020°C.

At this temperature, the glaze makes each item durable and transparent. Finally, every element is entirely hand-finished by skilled Italian decorators, achieving refined details in gold and platinum. The piece is fired at 600-700°C to produce the final product, which is delicate in craftsmanship and meticulously finished in every detail. After polishing, each item is marked, and a factory quality certificate is placed in a small package. The products are packed into cardboard boxes using a modern packing machine that creates soft cushions to wrap delicate items.

This modern packing method ensures that there are never issues with damaged goods or broken elements. All boxes are then placed on Euro pallets (dimensions approx. 80 cm x 120 cm), making the goods safer and eliminating problems with missing items. Upon receipt, the customer can attest to the quality of the product, having purchased an item directly from Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro.

Today, the workshop has expanded to include: gifts, complete series consisting of centerpieces, baskets, vases, picture frames, ashtrays, plates, lamps, columns, cachepots, mirrors, panels, candlesticks, clocks, tables, and swans.
