The iconic companies Montegrappa and Alfa Romeo - represent the values that define the Italian soul, tradition, and innovation. Another, almost transcendental quality that unites them is their commitment to ensuring that their creations possess elegance, and that form respects function. The date on which Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili was founded, June 24, 1910, is reflected in the number of pens created in a limited edition by two legendary Italians. Montegrappa has been producing top-quality fountain pens and writing instruments in the same factory since 1912, and it was chosen to produce a pen for Alfa Romeo on its centenary.
The first result of this new collaboration between the companies is a elegant line of pens embodying the essence of Alfa Romeo's history and prestige. The collection was brought to life by a master craftsman from Bassano. On this significant anniversary, it features twelve different writing items (three versions of pens, ballpoint pens, and mechanical pencils) to celebrate and honor the magnificent car, in which every design detail has been carefully considered. The date on which Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili was founded - June 24, 1910 - refers to the number of pens created in this limited edition.
The exquisite artistic design engraved with a unique low-relief technique on the body in silver and gold versions is inspired by stylistic elements reminiscent of the Alfa Romeo logo. It is also depicted in a sculpture on the top of the cap, while the classic cloverleaf symbol for Alfa is engraved on the 18-karat, bi-color gold nib of the fountain pen. The feed is made of ebonite, demonstrating that even the hidden parts are luxurious and crafted with the utmost attention to detail.Montegrappa pens showcase a blend of Italian style and functionality, a rare, precious item that reflects the character of its owner.
