Elaborate Silver/Pearl Gray (Large) Privilege Deco Fountain Pen

The Montegrappa company presents the new collection: "Privilege Deco". In 2005, it refreshed the appearance of one of the oldest and most classic models of its pens, the Privilege. The new design embellishing the Privilege Deco series was inspired by a historic model from the 1930s, which belongs to the Montegrappa museum collection.

The octagonal shape and precious materials used in the pen's production, which distinguish this collection, have been revitalized with a new design and an elegant new color scheme for the finishing parts. Currently, the dominant color is sophisticated pearl gray. The pattern on the pen body is created using authentic, rare Guilloche technique, the most traditional craftsmanship method. To trace the origins of the Guilloche technique, one must go back to the 17th century. Although today it is an extremely rare and complex technique, a few artisans still master this skill. The Guilloche technique is an ancient art used in goldsmithing, enabling the creation of lines with special tools to decorate precious materials such as silver, gold, or platinum.
The imagination of the creators of this line of fountain pens resulted in very elegant pens, and by applying a resin mass finish in gray, they became even more refined. The manufacturer left a space on the cap, allowing the owner to engrave a personal mark or signature. The clip is finished with a characteristic ball typical for the brand.

The fountain pens are equipped with 18-karat gold nibs, rhodium-plated, with ebonite feeds. They feature converters that can be easily replaced with ink cartridges at any time. This edition represents refined elegance, maintaining the old-fashioned tradition of handcraftsmanship and the excellence for which Montegrappa is known.
