Montegrappa, the first Italian manufacturer of fountain pens, pays tribute to the thirties by enriching the Extra 1930 collection with a new and exclusive version called Bamboo Black. The inspiration for the "Extra" series pens was a model from Montegrappa from the 1930s. The series was created to satisfy those who love precious items with classic shapes and original colors and patterns.

Impeccable individuality is rewarded. The colors of the bodies made from celluloid, in brown and marbled green, were inspired by models from the Montegrappa Museum. This series includes fountain and rollerball pens with sterling silver decorations, featuring 18-karat gold nibs and an ebonite reservoir, available only in brown. The rollerball pen has a body and cap made of high-quality black plastic with distinctive green flashes. The cap is topped with the company's logo, which is 1912 within a laurel wreath. The clip and rings are made of sterling silver. The clip is finished with the brand's characteristic ball, making it easy to attach. The ring at the base of the cap is decorated with Greek characters. The pen features an extremely efficient, velvety-writing black ink cartridge, with a traditional piston filling system. The pen is housed in a ash wood box with an included replica of the original year's ink bottle, with an ebonite closure.
