The inspiration for the "Extra" series pens was a model from Montegrappa from the 1930s. The series was created to satisfy those who love precious items with classic shapes and original colors and patterns.

Impeccable individuality is rewarded. The colors of the bodies made from celluloid, in brown and marbled green, were inspired by models from the Montegrappa Museum. This series includes fountain pens and ballpoint pens decorated with sterling silver with 18-karat gold nibs and an ebonite reservoir, available only in brown. The ballpoint pen features a body and cap made from high-quality black plastic with striking green highlights. The cap is topped with the company's logo, which is 1912 in a laurel wreath. The clip and rings are made of sterling silver. The clip is finished with a characteristic ball, making it easy to attach. The ring at the base of the cap is decorated with Greek characters. The pen has an extremely efficient, velvety-writing ink cartridge in black, with a traditional piston filling system. The pen is housed in a ash wood box with an included replica of the original year's ink bottle, with an ebonite cap.
