Albino Miranda is a Portuguese manufacturer creating unique furniture, closely connected to its creator. Since 1989, the owner started with sculptures, later expanding his offer to include unconventional furniture worldwide. Albino designs two product lines, appropriately named Gansk and Karpa. Of course, many similarities can be found, but their styles differ significantly from each other.
Karpa is a fascinating collection that surpasses any design standards, which is why we fell in love with them. They are deeply connected to sculpture and the owner's passion. The influence of handcrafted work and chisel carving is clearly visible. Exclusive style is complemented by high-quality materials that we can freely choose according to our individual projects. The sculptures, forming a whole with minimalist shapes, make a huge impression. It’s hard not to feel that the designer draws heavily from surrealism, nature, and the magic of design. The bases of prestigious tables or consoles often resemble the roots of large trees. This is a very distinctive mix and clearly has no equivalent among our other niche brands.
