The Espressione collection consists of elegant writing instruments that expressively blend two precious materials: mother-of-pearl resin, with added mother-of-pearl inlay, and rhodium-plated finishes used for the body and sterling silver, which forms the clip. The expression of taste and style characteristic of Italian goldsmith artists is also reflected in the sterling silver clip, engraved with a diamond in a pattern of transverse rings. The collection impresses with a modern yet harmonious composition of other details: a clip end with a ball, a ring of precious resin surrounding the disc with the 1912 logo crowning the clip, and the Montegrappa logo repeated three times on the body ring. The fountain pen is equipped with an 18-karat gold nib. All products from the new Espressione collection feature a hexagonal-shaped design and are decorated with a characteristic Greek meander pattern. The pen has a double ink filling system: converter or ink cartridges, which is an additional advantage. The pen also features the ability to screw the clip onto the body for writing.
