Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems to be completely independent of the trends that have dominated the world over the years. Its main guiding principle is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.
The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the products made. Therefore, their company's philosophy places great emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are very welcome, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing vision and can meet long-standing quality standards.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The highest quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles are made from materials including buffalo horns, bison, deer, and 'bosso' wood.
