Description
Made of copper and stainless steel, the equipment of this Belgian company meets the highest standards.
Falk Culinair manufactory has been managed by the Van Achter family since 1958, making it a company with strong roots and a long tradition.
The copper coating, nearly 2.5 mm thick, guarantees exceptional durability for the products and also helps save energy.
Thanks to innovative technological research, Falk Culinair has developed a new series of CopperCore cookware: a solid copper plate is directly bonded on one side with a very thin layer of austenitic stainless steel, and on the other side with a thin layer of ferritic stainless steel. The new casing provides a much more modern appearance while retaining all the benefits of excellent copper conductivity. Additionally, the interior lining made of austenitic stainless steel is durable, hygienic, chemical-free, and can never melt.
The FALK “CopperCore” series is durable and has an unlimited lifespan. Professional thickness of 2.5 mm, composed of 75% solid copper, 10% stainless steel, and 15% ferritic stainless steel. The proportions, curves, and shapes were developed in collaboration with professional chefs. All models are suitable for all types of stoves: gas, electric, ceramic, and induction, and feature a pouring spout. Ergonomic handles are made from solid stainless steel casting.
The variety of offerings allows for tailoring each kitchen’s contents to a wide range of needs and dishes.
Below are some tips that will be useful after purchasing copper products.
1. Pans can be placed in the oven, provided the temperature is below 230°C.
2. Since copper conducts heat well, these models usually require only 50-70% of the full power of an electric stove. For gas stoves, it is also recommended to use a lower flame.
3. Avoid heating empty cookware.
4. Copper pots react with salt dissolved in cold water. Therefore, salt dishes only after the liquid inside has heated up. Salting cold liquid may cause pitting corrosion.
Helpful tips:
1. Saucepan must cool down before washing.
2. They should not be washed in dishwashers.
3. Copper products should be washed in warm water with a detergent. After washing, wipe immediately with a soft cloth to dry.
4. Do not use bleach-based cleaning agents.
5. There are cleaning products available on the market specifically for copper utensils. They help keep the items looking like new for longer.
6. Over time, a patina may form on the copper surface. It is harmless and does not affect the cooking process in any way.
7. To prevent rusting of cast iron handles, occasionally apply a thin layer of vegetable oil.
