MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial craft-based workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has adopted its current corporate character. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products inspired by the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR applications.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company moves into the present with over fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
