MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 on the intuition of founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has taken on its current corporate form. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings have gradually expanded, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After the premature death of Paolo in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/tissue and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has led the brand to face new challenges of digitization, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the firstborn, joined the company as head of communication and quality to confirm further generational evolution. In this way, the brand reaches the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are made available to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
