The manufactory from Vicenza knows this well, creating the most "Italian" writing products. Montegrappa was founded in the 19th century — it developed into one of the most prosperous manufacturers in the world. Today, at the beginning of the 21st century, it is obvious that Montegrappa aims to continue following contemporary trends and adapting its product range accordingly. Drawing inspiration from many sources, it broadens the company's design horizons. These include influences from ancient art, architecture, icons, contemporary culture, as well as inspiration from original jewelry. The motto of the artisans working for the brand is pride in their craftsmanship — a factor that seems to diminish in mass production.
Micra is the ultimate expression of luxury and the smallest writing instrument in the Montegrappa range. The collection includes four models (fountain pen, ballpoint pen, rollerball, and mechanical pencil), which are a perfect combination of tradition and innovation. The fountain pen features a distinctive octagonal body and cap made from precious resin in black-gray. The clip and rings are made from sterling silver. The clip is finished with a characteristic ball, typical for the brand, facilitating attachment. The nib is made from 18K gold, engraved, rhodium-plated, bi-tone. The ring is set with 21 diamonds (color H, clarity VS2-SI1, total weight 0.27 carats). The pen has a filling system with replaceable cartridges. This writing instrument is dedicated to women and comes in a beautiful maple wood box.
Despite the modesty contained within this pen, it exudes a unique atmosphere. The creators from Montegrappa have once again demonstrated remarkable intuition by creating a wonderful jewel.
