BATMAN Montegrappa Fountain Pen/Watch/Cufflinks Set

Montegrappa has prepared a special collection for Batman fans, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, paying tribute to elements of popular culture, as part of Montegrappa’s Cult Collection.  It is both an honor and a great pleasure that Montegrappa’s artisans can present writing instruments and accessories commemorating one of the greatest comic book superheroes of all time: Batman.

He has many names: The Dark Knight, The Caped Crusader, The World’s Greatest Detective. Batman proves that you don’t need superpowers to be a superhero. In the “Batman” collection, Montegrappa produced 1939 ballpoint pens. This number signifies the year of the character’s first appearance. All parts of the roller (ballpoint pen) are made of aluminum with black anodized finishes, except for the clip and decorative rings, which are made of ruthenium-plated brass. This choice of materials provides a grey tone reminiscent of Batman’s original costume. The body is decorated with engraved images of flying bats.

The first 500 pieces were released as part of a set that also includes cufflinks and a watch. Ballpoint pens numbered from 501 to 1939 were intended for individual sale.

Based on Montegrappa watches from the NeroUno line, this features a Swiss-made Ronda quartz movement housed in a 42mm stainless steel case, water-resistant up to 5 atm. The case is finished with black PVD, secured with six screws. Embodying all the mystery of the Dark Knight captivating generation after generation, the watch is made in black, with flying bats decorating the case and dial. At the 12 o’clock position, there are oval Batman insignias made of nickel. The same material is used for the numerals 3, 6, and 9, the dots indicating the other hours, and the hands. The watch’s sapphire crystal protects the deep black dial and nickel accents. The case back is engraved with the bat symbol and the serial number. Additionally, the strap is made of carbon fiber, and the buckle is black PVD.

The packaging is designed to provide aesthetic pleasure to the customer. The outside is decorated with flying bat symbols, while the inside depicts Gotham City at night. Batman fans and enthusiasts will be able to enjoy this ballpoint pen as if it were designed in the Batcave (Batman’s headquarters) by Bruce Wayne and his butler Alfred.
The pen is made of aluminum with a black anodized finish. The entire pen features engraved bat symbols in many places, including on the nib.

It is packaged in an elegant metal box, with a cut-out logo of Batman in black glass (referencing The Dark Knight). Inside, there is a special artwork by Jim Lee. The countdown to Christmas has just a few months left, but Batman fans probably already know what they would like to receive.
