Manufacturing Process
Each part is crafted using the best processing techniques to ensure ultra-smooth operation and unmatched reliability. The final polish is performed by experts who hand-finish each individual piece to an impeccable shine.
Why Solid Stainless Steel?
The beauty and properties of stainless steel have made it an ideal choice for many sculptures and landmarks, such as the Chrysler Building’s peak in New York, the Gateway Arch defining the St. Louis skyline, and the Atomium in Brussels. These same qualities make it the best choice for many industrial and commercial applications, including high-quality bathroom and kitchen fixtures and outdoor installations.
In 1998, MGS produced the first stainless steel mixer for domestic use. No other manufacturer before MGS used it for this purpose due to costs and technical challenges: stainless steel is more expensive than brass and more complex to operate because of its hardness and higher melting point. These factors did not deter MGS, as the goal was to offer the most premium products to conscious consumers.

- It is 100% lead-free, which allowed MGS to become the first European manufacturer to obtain NSF61 Annex G compliance certification. It also meets the new low-lead requirements in the USA, effective from January 2014.
- The finish is achieved through hand polishing rather than chemical processes such as chrome plating or coating. Polished stainless steel is highly resistant to scratches and very durable.
- It is 100% recyclable, with a significant portion (about 60%) made from recycled materials.
- Stainless steel does not release nickel, making it ideal for people with allergies.
- Its non-porous surface is more resistant to bacteria and germs, making it a more hygienic choice for kitchens and bathrooms.
- Perfect for outdoor installation, as stainless steel is resistant to oxidation.

Some competitors now use stainless steel sheets or pipes to cover the internal brass body. This shortcut may reduce manufacturing costs while providing some of the benefits listed above, but certainly not all!
