Although Art Noveau was most popular in Europe, at the height of its development, it spread worldwide. The fascination with this mysterious, contrasting style, rich in subtle, feminine patterns, was not only due to admiration for its form. Behind this form lay a design philosophy that encompasses entire lives, gaining a strongly aesthetic dimension — the Art Noveau style often dominated homes.
