An unusual display case from 1860 made of walnut wood - antique

Excellent quality, Victorian-shaped walnut in a tall and slender display case with unusual proportions, featuring a shapely walnut form, a formed top with a concave frieze, and glass doors surrounding the interior lining. The sides are angled corners with fluted heads raised on a plinth and upholstered. This antique display cabinet is decorated with high-quality ormolu fittings and retains its original finish, which has been cleaned, restored, and waxed in our workshop.

Here, too, there was an interest in mythology and ancient times, so supports and legs often took animal forms.
