 A rare and very unusual Edwardian cylindrical display cabinet / vitrine, featuring original beveled glass edges for the inlaid top, inlaid doors equipped with an original working lock and key, and 3 glass shelves, standing on tapered legs ending with small feet. This antique cabinet is in a wonderful original condition.

Mythology and ancient times also inspired these designs, with supports and legs often taking animal forms.  

Lion’s paws, eagle heads—these are common motifs in Renaissance style. Currently, many global brands reproduce furniture inspired by Italian and French artisans, paying homage to and preserving the history of the most beautiful Renaissance antiques.
