Sacchi and comes from Pictorial Cosmorama; on the back of the card, there is a detailed description of the basilica. Cosmorama Pittorico is a magazine founded in Milan by Luigi Sacchi in 1835, which equipped it with a special typography and entrusted its management to his cousin Defendente Sacchi until his death in 1840. Distinguished Milanese figures (Carlo Tenca, Antonio Ghislanzoni, Alessandro Lampugnani) approached journalism, making their first experiments with Pictorial Cosmorama, notable for being the first magazine where illustrations played an important role—a novelty criticized by Carlo Cattaneo, who was also a regular contributor.
