Espressione is the name of Montegrappa's latest collection, the quintessence of luxury—writing instruments with a distinctive character, full of expression and unique charm. The collection references the expression of our personality, as the written word is a way of expressing our soul. Minimalist, elegant design in a refined, typically Italian style.
The Espressione collection features elegant writing instruments that expressively combine two precious materials: mother-of-pearl resin, with added mother-of-pearl shell, and rhodium-plated finishes used for the body and sterling silver, which forms the clip. The expression of taste and style characteristic of Italian goldsmith artists is also reflected in the sterling silver clip, engraved with a diamond pattern of transverse rings. The collection impresses with a modern yet harmonious composition of other details: the clip end is finished with a ball, a ring of precious resin surrounds the disk with the 1912 logo crowning the clip, and the Montegrappa logo is repeated three times on the body ring. The fountain pen is equipped with an 18-karat gold nib. All products from the new Espressione collection feature an octagonal-shaped cap band decorated with a characteristic Greek meander pattern. The pen has a double ink filling system: converter or ink cartridges, which is an additional advantage. The pen also features the ability to screw the cap onto the body for writing.
Montegrappa presents an impressive color palette in this series: intense Cobalt Blue, elegant Testa di Moro (dark brown), classic Smoked Black, and the imaginative Amazzon Green. This collection is available in versions: fountain pen, ballpoint pen, rollerball, and mechanical pencil.
