Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to remain completely detached from the trends that have emerged worldwide over the years. Its core value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.

The founders firmly reject the idea of mass production by casual labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the knives they create. For this reason, their company's philosophy places great emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to change. Changes are very welcome, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing idea and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of workers, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The owners recommend that, although their knives are designed for everyday use, they should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability over many years. Each one is, after all, a small, unique work of art.
