Our object inspirations are drawn from the most extraordinary things. The inspiration for the Gift Wrap Collection is a steel ribbon wrapping a volume, similar to a box of chocolates. It features two different designs, called movements. In the first part, a stainless steel structure surrounds the table.
Minimalist and architectural, the entire collection received the “A’ Design Award” in 2016 in the category of “Furniture, Decorative Articles, and Homeware Design.” This piece is entirely made in Portugal and handcrafted. Every stage of the process is carefully executed or supervised by the creator within a small workshop context.
More than an architect or designer, João Faria is a creator of concepts, original products, exclusive furniture, spaces, buildings, and interiors. A connector between the best of two worlds, sometimes so different as modern technology and ancient traditions.
