A unique futuristic ceramic vase celebrating the 120th anniversary of the factory

LIMITED EDITION OF 50 NUMBERED PIECES

In 2023, we celebrate the 120th anniversary of the historic art ceramics factory.

Founded in 1903 by Giuseppe Bausna Mazzotti in Pozzo Garitta in Albisoli.

On this anniversary, cousins Giovanni and Tullio will publish a commemorative book dedicated to the family, its workers, and all the ceramists who attended their workshops. Mazzotti's workshops gave rise to 17 companies that contributed to the history of Albisoli, of which four are still active: Ceramiche San Giorgio, Marco Tortarolo, Ceramiche 2G Guido Garbarino, and Ceramiche Il Tondo.

Alongside Mazzotti's factories, the Bottega Pierluca, a branch of Mazzotti, operates concurrently. It is currently run by Dario Bevilacqua, in collaboration with his mother, Biagi Clara.

This 120-page publication, showcasing years of history, has been edited by Dr. Paola Gargiulo and will be published by Vanilla, a publishing house in Albisoli.

On this historic occasion, both companies have created a four-handled ceramic vase, depicting the 17th-century style of Antico Savona (White-Blue) and the futuristic style, which characterized the connection between craftsmanship and art, typical of the Mazzotti factory.

The vase will be produced in a limited edition, in the FIRST SERIES of 50 pieces. Each piece will be unique, numbered from 1 to 50, and marked with the joint initials of both factories.

These unique and one-of-a-kind works are available for purchase by prior reservation at a price of €903.00 each.

The pieces can be personalized with the client's name and surname. Each will be accompanied by a publication signed by masters Giovanni and Tullio, as well as a unique guarantee certificate.
