Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, rooted in a family industrial background that produces prestigious office furniture systems, deeply embedded in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, the company's economic growth and development path have enabled it to look at the international market, contributing to the worldwide dissemination of Italian design and high quality. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting from designer execution collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this allows offering complete and customized furnishing solutions for any workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe's most important furniture industrial districts. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The furniture manufacturing plant is equipped for working in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main building houses executive, sales, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and a showroom of over 400 sqm that displays all collections of luxury office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 sqm for new offices, and 830 sqm for a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The manufacturing plant produces exclusively in Falzè di Piave, Treviso, and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and consolidate its success by continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is "just in time," which ensures reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, in the local industrial district where most raw material and component suppliers are located. All products are fully designed and made in Italy to guarantee a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof, every element of the furniture results from an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic part of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and continuously updated with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, in full compliance with European safety and health standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTING
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

Prof can propose and carry out personalized services on standard production models: from the manufacturing of oversized components, through the search for new materials and finishes, to sample and prototype creation. Thanks to its production versatility, Professor has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumable materials, handling projects ranging from small and medium-sized to highly personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and claims, Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services, including full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Prof’s broad production flexibility allows, in addition to series production, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with completely individual finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: targeted design, meticulous material selection, and attention to detail, culminating in the construction process step-by-step until final installation.
Production is fully customized to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competition by improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, and streamlining internal production processes, Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Implementing a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and producing office furniture with respect for the environment. From carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 boards in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Eco Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are made from recycled wood in a manufacturing process that does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Professor’s commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of its production activities on the environment and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twenty-year anniversary, Prof introduced a new green logo to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new energy provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.

ECO PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, enabling customized training in packaging. Optimizing packaging for specific products significantly reduces packaging costs, storage, and waste disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established. All waste is stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.

CERTIFICATIONS

Demonstrating a commitment to quality, Prof obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification and adheres to international standards in design, development, production, and customer service.
