MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate character. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines gradually expanded to include interior accessories, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a proprietary archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand continues to evolve, carrying fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking pure Italian luxury.
