MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the intuition of founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the interior accessories lines were gradually developed, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralds success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products inspired by the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s firstborn, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality to mark further generational evolution. In this way, the brand now carries fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking pure Italian luxury.
