Specifically, the etchings depict:
1. S. Gregorius M. Conscripsit sermones rectissimos et veritate plenos. Preacher 12.10;
2. S. Ambrosius Sunt quaedam difficilia intellectu 2.Petr.3.16;
3. S. Augustinus Tria sunt difficilia mihi. Pov.30.18;

The engravings are bordered with a red line and a light blue mat. The items, consistent with their age, are in good condition with minimal signs of moisture damage.
Luxurious antique furniture and accessories can be an excellent idea for decorating our interiors. Today, there is a growing number of enthusiasts of high-quality vintage products that possess a distinct character and soul. It is a nod to history, craftsmanship, and the creation of classic and timeless furniture. There are many different styles in antique furniture, each with its own distinctive features.
Many styles characterize antique furniture, but a few are particularly prominent. Eclectic furniture refers to the 19th century, especially the Biedermeier style. Its early variations include neo-Gothic, Gothic, Rococo, Louis Philippe style, and finally the Victorian English style. By the end of the century, these styles evolved into pseudo-classicism, Renaissance, and Baroque styles.
Empire-style furniture dates from the late 18th to early 19th century, inspired by Napoleon’s reign. It features significant similarities and references to Roman and Greek ornamentation.
Neoclassical furniture, such as Louis XVI style, also draws heavily from ancient architecture. Noteworthy are antique products in Rococo and Louis XV styles. Next is Baroque, derived from the Portuguese word 'barocco'—meaning an irregularly developed pearl. These were highly ornate pieces designed to exude splendor and play a significant role in luxury. Materials were selectively chosen to emphasize the grandeur of these items.
Today, we can observe how much the Baroque style influenced modern classic furniture, which is often designed with a strong resemblance to the historical period. The Renaissance style also made a significant impact, flourishing in the 15th and 16th centuries and shaping furniture design. Renaissance furniture was quite heavy and robust, using brown stains, moldings, strong bases, and reliefs. These products were quite distinctive but also opened new possibilities, such as the construction of credenzas and broadly speaking, chest furniture. Mythology and ancient themes were also popular, with supports and legs often taking animal forms.
Lion paws, eagle heads—these are common motifs in Renaissance-style furniture. Currently, many global companies reproduce such furniture, inspired by Italian and French creators. This reflects admiration and respect for the history of the most beautiful Renaissance antiques. It’s important to remember that furniture styles varied by country, each with its own character. This is especially crucial when selecting an exclusive antique for your interior.
The most important aspect of original antique furniture is authenticity. Ultimately, this matters most to the buyer, as the market is flooded with counterfeits. Luxury Products provides documentation confirming the product’s compliance with its description and photos. We also have access to art appraisers, historians, and experts from around the world.
