Albino Miranda is a Portuguese manufacturer creating elegant furniture, closely connected to its creator. Since 1989, the owner started with sculptures, later expanding to offer unconventional furniture worldwide. Albino designs two product lines, appropriately named Gansk and Karpa. Of course, many similarities can be found, but their styles differ significantly from each other.
Karpa is a fascinating collection that exceeds any design standards, which is why we fell in love with them. They are closely linked to sculpture and the owner's passion. The evident influence of handcrafted work and chisel carving is apparent. Elegant styles are complemented by high-quality materials that we can freely select according to our individual projects. The sculptures, forming a whole with minimalist shapes, make a huge impression. It’s hard not to feel that the designer strongly references surrealism, nature, and the magic of design. The bases of stylish tables or consoles often express the roots of large trees. This is a very charming mix and clearly has no equivalent among our other niche brands.
