The Albino Miranda company is a Portuguese manufacturer producing elegant furniture, closely connected to its creator. Since 1989, the owner started with sculptures, and later expanded the offer to include unconventional furniture worldwide. Albino designs two product lines, appropriately named Gansk and Karpa. Of course, many similarities can be found, but their styles differ significantly from each other.
Karpa is a fascinating collection of pieces that surpass any design standards, which is why we fell in love with them. They are closely linked to sculpture and the owner's passion. A clear influence of handcrafted work and chisel carving is evident. The elegant style is complemented by high-quality materials, which we can freely choose according to our individual projects. The sculptures, forming a whole with minimalist shapes, make a huge impression. It is hard not to get the impression that the designer strongly references surrealism, nature, and the magic of design. The bases of stylish tables or consoles often express the roots of large trees. This is a very charming combination and clearly has no equivalent among our other niche brands.
