The first globe manufacturing workshop in the world
The oldest and still leading manufacturer of traditional globes, Columbus, is not only responsible for creating luxurious and original office globes, study or any other interior where owners appreciate beautiful design. Columbus is also the creator of the largest globes in the world!
In 2005, this extraordinary workshop designed and created a 35-foot diameter globe for a historical museum! It remains the largest globe on Earth! This project is largely a symbol – a symbol of a workshop that has no equal.
Beautiful standing globes
Columbus standing globes are made of crystal glass, onto which individual map sections are applied, created in 24 parts with beautiful colors and attention to cartographic detail. They are crafted simultaneously by specialized artisans and a team of cartographers. They are hardened, coated with a protective layer, and will serve as high-quality decorative elements in an office, designer lounge, or bedroom.
