The first is based on the idea that everyday objects should be aesthetically pleasing but primarily functional, crafted in an elegant, simple manner — with symmetrical lines, from solid materials, where every element of the final form is carefully considered.
Art Noveau is the complete opposite of Thistle — decorated items that combine functionality with artistic craftsmanship, elaborate Art Nouveau style, asymmetry, free compositions, and rich ornamentation that reflect the artistic soul of the owner.
