iMuranesi is an artistic venture born from the imagination of a descendant of one of the oldest Venetian families, associated with Murano glass production, Giampaolo Barbiní.

iMuranesi is a popular brand with an international reach, blending contemporary creativity with traditional Murano glass-making values.
However, this designer project is also rooted in a tradition that dates back hundreds of years, when the authorities of the Venetian Republic decided to concentrate all glassmakers in one place. To this day, its name is recognized worldwide, and the products originating from there captivate audiences.
The Barbiní family is one of the respected medieval clans. In 1658, by order of the Consiglio dei Dieci council, the Barbiní family was inscribed in the Golden Book of Murano Society's Notables, in other words, among the most distinguished glassmakers in Venice.
Additionally, the family was granted a coat of arms — depicting two bearded wise men looking at each other with a star between them on a blue background — which can still be seen at the Murano Glass Museum.
