The first is based on the idea that utilitarian objects should be aesthetically pleasing but primarily functional, made in an elegant, simple manner — with symmetrical lines, from solid materials, where every element of the final form is carefully thought out.
Art Nouveau is the complete opposite of Thistle — decorated objects that combine functionality with artistic craftsmanship, elaborate Art Deco, asymmetry, free compositions, and rich ornamentation that reflect the artistic soul of the owner.
Century, on the other hand, features an elegant, feminine, refined form that attracts the eye with its delicacy.
