They graze at altitudes above 14,000 feet above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This particular property makes the brand’s carpets more resistant to stains.
Interesting colors are obtained through manual processing and dyeing. Inspirations for the carpets come from a combination of Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and nature. Many motifs were inspired by the shapes of tropical leaves or the colors of the setting sun over the peaks of the majestic Himalayas.
All carpets from this company are handmade from silk and Himalayan wool yarns. Wool dyeing is a 100% natural process. Organic materials (e.g., nuts, roots, or saffron) are used for dyeing, while maintaining the highest quality.
