The company's activities began in 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this extraordinary place in New York.
Materials used include Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettles, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mainly plants are used, which is a very eco-friendly processing method and will surely appeal to those who particularly care about ecology.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. Then, the rugs are sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to the increased content of lanolin, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a beautiful sheen.
