As the model name suggests - Spill - this piece features a design in the shape of a spilled stain running along the longer side.
Although applied arts are often pushed to the margins by many, W&W products are the perfect proof that they can rival the most beautiful symphonies. Delicate yet durable, fluffy, shiny, stain-resistant, and also unique – these are exactly the Warp & Weft rugs.
The company's beginnings date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this extraordinary place in New York.
Materials used include Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettles, hemp, and linen. The dyeing process primarily relies on plants, which is a very eco-friendly method of processing and will surely appeal to those who particularly care about ecology.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. Then, the rugs are sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to the increased lanolin content, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a beautiful sheen.
The variety of designs means that everyone can find a gem in the Warp & Weft collection that suits the most refined tastes.
