These sheep graze at altitudes above 14,000 feet above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This special feature makes Odegard Carpets rugs more resistant to dirt.
Interesting colors result from manual processing and dyeing. Inspirations for creating the rugs include Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and nature. Many patterns are inspired by the shapes of tropical leaves or the colors of the sunset over the Himalayan peaks.
All Odegard Carpets products are handmade from carefully selected silk yarns and Himalayan wool. The dyeing process is entirely natural, using organic materials (nuts, roots, or saffron), while maintaining the highest quality.
