The origins of the New York-based company Warp & Weft date back to 2001. It was founded by Michael Mandapati.
The products are made from raw materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mainly plants are used, which will surely appeal to those who care about ecology.
Each product is handcrafted in Nepal by highly skilled artisans. Then, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their final appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and have a beautiful sheen.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft’s collection offers a gem to suit even the most refined tastes.
