The New York-based company was founded in 2001 by Michael Mandapatie.
Materials used for the rugs include, for example, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing – mainly plants, which makes it a very eco-friendly process and will appeal to everyone who cares about sustainability.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly talented artisans craft them by hand. Afterwards, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive shine.
