Asymetry is a series of storage furniture with soft and asymmetrical lines, based on active pedagogy developed by Maria Montessori.

Building on the active pedagogy developed by Maria Montessori, Asymetry enables the development of independence and motor skills in children from a very young age, offering scalable furniture adapted to the child's growth. This collection consists of a wardrobe, a shelf, and a desk. The child has easy access to their belongings, can choose independently, and make decisions on their own.

The range was designed to optimize and rationalize production through standard forms and an evolving character, giving the collection an eco-design approach. The Asymetry collection evolves according to new needs of the child. Based on Montessori pedagogy, the Asymetry collection accompanies the child's development and guides them in learning. Autonomy, motor skills, but also the child's imagination are constantly in demand. The Asymetry collection includes a series of products tailored to the child's needs, which will grow and evolve with them.

Two types of sets have been designed. On one hand, side extension sets that add functional elements, following the continuity of the product and increasing its length. For example, a single shelf can become double or triple, or be connected to a desk, as the mounting systems are identical in both products. On the other hand, vertical extension sets are designed to enlarge the products as the child grows, ensuring that height and functionality are always adapted. These sets are a strength of the collection, with the principle of scalability integrated from the design phase.

Always following the principle of scalability, the desk is designed to evolve with the child. For this purpose, four heights are offered: 42 cm for young children, then 53 cm, 64 cm, and finally 75 cm, which corresponds to the standard size of a teenager's or adult's desk. Similarly, the bench offers different seating heights in relation to the three higher desk heights: 31 cm, then 38 cm, and finally 45 cm.

The cosmic architectural adventure combined with modern solutions gives us a picture of the Mathy by Bols workshop. Products are made from birch plywood, solid wood, or European MDF E1 panels. Painting is done exclusively with water-based paints, ensuring safety for our children. The color palette is very extensive, allowing everyone to choose any color from the RAL palette. All items produced by Mathy by Bols hold a PEFC certificate. All showcased furniture can be purchased in any configuration. Bunk beds are also available as single beds for children's rooms. Sleeping domes can be customized freely, adding a slide or a ladder. Everything depends on our imagination and the needs of our youngest children. Mathy by Bols offers a lot of joy in use, but also durability. This is linked to long-term use by our children. The furniture is designed to serve younger siblings, among other things, through technological processes and high quality.
