The latest version of the Flower model is a great opportunity to appreciate a pattern that captivates with its simplicity. Composed of several lines, seemingly slightly blurred, the flower occupies almost the entire surface of the rug, with its interior located in the central part. Made from soft, glossy silk from the Chinese town of Dandong, it is woven with 15 threads per knot at a density of 120 knots.
The main advantages of the Fort Street Studio brand are the highest quality yarns and silk threads, a unique approach to dyeing, as well as careful color matching. Each rug is a kind of artwork, a synergy of artistic mastery and functional aesthetics.
Fort Street Studio was founded by a pair of brilliant artists with artistic achievements – Janis Provisor and Brad Davis, who transferred their love of art into interior design. Their works, before actively promoting the new brand, were exhibited at, among others, the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, and Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to the creative talents and practical skills of these two, a unique company was born – based on original, inventive designs and carefully selected materials. Fort Street Studio – the name comes from the street where they lived – has been indicating future trends in interior decoration for over two decades.
