The origins of the New York-based brand date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish this exclusive company. They use Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen for production.
For dyeing, mainly plants are used, which will appeal to everyone who cares about eco-friendly processing methods.
Each product is handmade in Nepal by highly skilled artisans. Afterwards, the rugs are sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, they are also softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a beautiful sheen.
