The origins of the New York-based brand date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish this exclusive company. They use Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen in their production.
For dyeing, they mainly use plants, which will appeal to all who care about eco-friendly processing methods.
Each product is made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. Then, the rugs are sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to an increased content of lanolin, they are also softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a beautiful sheen.
